By booking or participating in any trip organized by Travel With Strangers, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking.
Booking & Acceptance
- By booking a trip with Travel With Strangers, participants agree to all Terms & Conditions mentioned below.
- The company reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
ID Verification
- All participants must carry a valid government-issued ID proof such as Aadhar Card, Passport, PAN Card, or Driving License.
- Failure to provide valid ID proof may result in cancellation without refund.
Payment Policy
- Booking confirmation is subject to advance payment.
- Full payment must be completed before the trip departure date.
- Failure to complete payment on time may result in cancellation of the booking.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- Bookings are non-transferable.
- No refunds will be provided for missed departures, unused services, or voluntary tour discontinuation.
- Refund policies may vary depending on the trip package and cancellation timing.
Travel & Transport
- Bangalore to Bangalore transport will be provided only if included in the package.
- Pickup timings and locations must be followed strictly.
- Participants must arrive at pickup points at least 10 minutes before departure time.
- Travel delays caused by traffic, weather, breakdowns, or unforeseen situations may occur.
Accommodation
- Accommodation will be provided on sharing basis unless otherwise specified.
- In remote trekking locations, luxury amenities such as Wi-Fi, hot water, and uninterrupted electricity may not always be available.
- Triple-sharing rooms may include an extra mattress instead of an additional bed.
Meals
- Meals included in the package will be provided as fixed menu or buffet based on availability.
- Snacks, beverages, and desserts may not always be included unless specifically mentioned.
Trekking & Adventure Activities
- All trekking and adventure activities are undertaken at the participant’s own risk.
- Participants must follow trek leader and guide instructions throughout the trip.
- Travel With Strangers is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illness, loss, or death during the trip.
Health & Medical Responsibility
- Participants are responsible for their personal health and fitness required for trekking activities.
- Any medical expenses, emergency evacuation, or hospital charges during the trip must be borne by the participant.
Personal Belongings
- Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings, gadgets, money, luggage, and valuables.
- Travel With Strangers is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage.
Behavior & Discipline
- Participants are expected to behave respectfully with fellow travelers, trek leaders, local people, and hotel staff.
- Misconduct, violence, harassment, or disturbance may result in immediate removal from the trip without refund.
Alcohol, Smoking & Drugs
- Illegal drugs and narcotic substances are strictly prohibited.
- Alcohol and smoking should not disturb fellow travelers or violate local regulations.
- Any participant found engaging in illegal activities will be removed from the trip immediately.
Environmental Responsibility
- Participants must avoid littering and help maintain cleanliness during the trek and travel experience.
- Respect nature, wildlife, and local culture at all times.
Weather & Itinerary Changes
- Trek schedules and itineraries may change due to weather conditions, roadblocks, natural disasters, government restrictions, or safety concerns.
- The company reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel trips if required for participant safety.
Photography & Media Usage
- Photos and videos captured during trips may be used by Travel With Strangers for promotional and marketing purposes.
- Participants who do not wish to appear in media should inform the organizers in advance.
Liability Disclaimer
- Travel With Strangers acts only as a tour organizer and is not liable for delays, cancellations, injuries, accidents, natural calamities, or third-party service failures.
- Participants join the trip voluntarily and accept associated risks.
Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes related to bookings or services shall be governed under Indian law.
- Jurisdiction will be applicable in the city where Travel With Strangers is registered.
